Kindness Cupboard
In 2022 a group of Re-New volunteers saw a need in the community for food assistance and without hesitation, “The Kindness Cupboard” was created. The Kindness Cupboard is a small food pantry that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to anyone who is in need of food, toiletries or cleaning supplies.
It may seem like something small compared to WROC and Re-New but to those who use it, it is very much a big part of their lives. It’s a meal on the table when there were no means to provide for a hungry family, a much needed snack to a homeless traveler, and food for children who have to fend for themselves.
You can support this ministry by bringing donations of non-perishable food items to the Re-New Thrift Store located at 1131 Macon Road during it’s business hours of Tuesday – Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

- Macaroni and Cheese

- Plastic containers of baby food
- Cereal/Grits/Oatmeal
- Peanut Butter
- Jelly
- Powdered Milk
- Spices (no glass containers)
- Soap
- Toothpaste/Toothbrush
- Travel-size Body Wash/Shampoo/Conditioner
- Feminine Hygiene products
- Ethnic hair care items
- Individually wrapped toilet paper
- Laundry Detergent
