What Perry Says About WROC

“The Kindness Cupboard has been a MIRACLE for many people in the Perry Georgia area. When a community works together to lighten the load of our everyday struggles, we STAND stronger, knowing someone cares !!! Pulling our resources together while we love others unconditionally !!! Being on the kindness cupboard team has taught all 3 of my kids anyone can make a difference by sharing. “

“Volunteering with WROC and Re-New for almost 10 years is incredibly rewarding in that I’m helping the community and have a creative outlet. I’ve made wonderful friends too!”

Beth, a volunteer

“I think volunteering is important… and I love volunteering at Re-New because our customers have become our friends, and together we are working to help those who are in need. So thankful that God has given me this opportunity.”

“The ladies at WROC are very special people. They go out of their way to help others tthat are down and out. They helped me when times were really bad, and I will never forget their kindness.”

WROC is a faith based organization committed to giving people a hand up instead of hand out, to help those in need move forward to becoming self sufficient.

“Women Reaching Our Community was founded in prayer as we met to seek Our Father for direction and clarity. The purpose is for WROC  to invite others in our community to join the mission to serve others in practical ways when they need a hand up with a situation.”
